A stunningly individual signature. The Classic 45 offers everything the Nelson hull lineage stands for, whilst DALE’s unique levels of craftsmanship rejoice in the relaxed style of the timeless design…

‘‘Open the throttles to discover DALE’s legendary hulls provide supreme comfort
and security even in conditions you thought would keep you in the marina.’’

DALE Classic 45 features

Electric 3 Stage Sunroof

A DALE is where luxury meets top spec. Business like features define the character of the boat, whilst features designed for your convenience remind you that a DALE takes you beyond luxury…

Electric Sunroof The ideal addition to make the most of sunny days – when the roof and the rear bulkhead are open, the saloon takes on a real open-air cockpit feel yet remains very sheltered. This is a 3 way option – you can open just the blind to flood the saloon with light, open the glass screen to any position from a few inches to fully open, or have the roof and blind fully closed to cosy up for the evening.

Electrically Adjustable Saloon Seating

At the flick of a switch the helm and pilot seat close right up to the dash, exposing more seating on the port side of the boat. The freed up space then also allows the saloon table to open up to provide a very sociable area – open the sunroof and bulkhead for alfresco dining, or close everything up for a snug Winter dinner.

Drop Down Bulkhead

Drop down bulkhead At the touch of a button the rear bulkhead window drops out of sight – combined with a ‘stable’ door to the cockpit it means you can instantly convert the boat from a closed saloon to an open hardtop.

Powered Transom Door

Maintaining the clean stern lines yet providing easy boarding.

Disappearing TV

Disappearing TV. Not wishing to spoil the hand-crafted feel of the interior with the stark look of a modern TV, a retractable system, again electrically operated, stores it out of sight and safely out of the way for passage making.

Smooth Anchor Recovery

The anchor system has been thoroughly developed and engineering to ensure the smoothest possible recovery and neatest stowage.

Meticulously Engineered Installations

The DALE engineers pay particular attention to the small details that make a big difference to experienced sea-goers – fuel tanks run the length of the hull so they enhance rather than detract from stability; fuel fillers have digital readouts, hull sides and stringers are fully sound proofed, engine rooms feature kind-to-the-knees rubber matting in place of harsh checker plate, through hull fittings are fitted with engraved labels.

Refrigerated cockpit table

Complementing additional cushioned cockpit seating, a cockpit table with folding leaves and a central refrigeration unit. Very sociable and ideal if you use your boat for entertaining.

Motor Boat and Yachting Test Report

It only takes a few moments of gazing across the pontoons at Dale’s new Classic 45 to suss out what this lovely boat is all
about: it’s a gentleman’s plaything, a whimsy, an object of beauty to be admired more than used in earnest. And there’s
surely nothing wrong with that notion. Even more than second homes and flash cars, our boats are indulgences…

Motor Boats Tested Best of British

Dale’s Classic 45 and Oyster’s OM43 have been revamped, allowing  us the chance to celebrate them all over again.

If you strip out the big guns from the UK’s boatbuilding industry – the likes of Fairline, Princess, Sealine and Sunseeker – you find a wonderful second layer which, just like a favourite box of chocolates, is every bit as tempting…
